I Have A New Science Fiction Short Story Now Available At Amazon.com & Smashwords.com

I decided to take Ray Bradbury and Steven King’s advice that a new writer should write a lot of short stories rather than try to write a novel.

I think the short story format is the best option for me too. So, I wrote a new Science Fiction short story that I just published a few minutes ago on Amazon.com & Smashwords.com.

I Have Decided To Renew My Domain Name SRREED.COM On GoDaddy For Another Year.

The one thing about the steroid drug Prednisone https://www.drugs.com/misspellings/predisone.html besides causing many body damaging conditions if taken long term is that it can make you a manic depressive as well. Last week I was in a severely depressed state. I deleted all of my social media accounts such as Facebook and LinkedIn.

I also cancelled the auto renewal option for my domain name SRREED.COM on GoDaddy. Today January 1, 2018, I’m feeling good and in a manic state. I reversed everything I did last week. I renewed my domain name and cancelled the deletion of my Facebook account. I couldn’t cancel the LinkedIn deletion so that account is gone forever.

I really never used LinkedIn anyway except to post a writing question in my Science Fiction writers group. I’m scheduled to see my family doctor this Wednesday January 3, 2018, to find out when I can get off of this steroid drug because it’s a dangerous drug both physically and psychologically.

A person in a manic depressant state can be a dangerous person to the public especially when driving a  car. In today’s traffic if you make a mistake in judgment you don’t get a second chance. You will either have killed an innocent person, yourself. or both.

I have never used drugs before especially powerful painkilling drugs such as OxyContin (oxycodone) which is, an opioid pain medication. An opioid is sometimes called a narcotic. When I had my inguinal hernia surgery in August of 2006, I refused to take the prescribed OxyContin.

I took Advil instead. I had more pain but I was able to handle it. Unfortunately, the pain from my current health problem is ten times more painful than the pain from the hernia surgery. It can put your legs in a paralyzed state making it almost impossible to walk, so I was forced to take the drug.

My doctor also told me that my current health problem called Polymyalgia rheumatica https://www.healthline.com/health/polymyalgia-rheumatica?utm_source=ask&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=asksearch is very serious and even if I could take the pain the damage it would cause to my spine and legs would be irreversible for someone my age.
